Basically you have the same problem I did with smaug_spell skills. I posted the fix on swfote.sourceforge.net fourms...but its all good... here's a repost.

In magic.c in the function successful_casting...after this part:
   else if( ch && ch == victim && skill->type == SKILL_SPELL )
   {
      act( chitme, "Ok.", ch, NULL, NULL, TO_CHAR );
   }


add:
   else if( ch && ch == victim && skill->type == SKILL_SKILL )
   {
      if( skill->hit_char && ( skill->hit_char[0] != '\0' ) )
         act( chit, skill->hit_char, ch, obj, victim, TO_CHAR );
      else
         act( chit, "Ok.", ch, NULL, NULL, TO_CHAR );
   }


Never actually figured out the exact reason that they used to work and stopped. I attribute it to the new memory macros though. Also I am pretty sure that they theoretically should NOT have worked before, but whatev.

BTW: Samson and User's god files must still exist because they were on the wizlist in 1.3 (latest). Also Admin is level 105 but maxlevel is 36...makes it harder to do a few things....also maybe set all of Admin's abilities to 200 and sset self all 100 so Admin knows all skills.....just a thought :)
