I just downloaded the latest version of AFKMud, and upon trying to compile the code via make clean I received the following errors:

act_comm.c:460: parse error before 'char'
act_comm.c:500: 'log_buf2' undeclared
make[23]: *** [o/act_comm.o] Error 1

Any clues?

This was an oversight on our part as far as gcc3. The code compiles without error when using a gcc3 compiler. If your using anything else, you need to move those declarations up to the tops of the 2 functions it complains about and that will solve it.
