On the assumption you mean for AFKMud, since this is where you posted, here's the quick and dirty:

mud.h

typedef enum
{
CLASS_MAGE, CLASS_CLERIC, CLASS_ROGUE, CLASS_WARRIOR, CLASS_NECROMANCER,
CLASS_DRUID, CLASS_RANGER, CLASS_MONK, CLASS_AVAILABLE, CLASS_AVAILABLE2,
CLASS_ANTIPALADIN, CLASS_PALADIN, CLASS_BARD
} class_types;

Add what you want to that.

const.c, npc_class

char * const npc_class [MAX_NPC_CLASS] =
{
"mage", "cleric", "rogue", "warrior", "necromancer", "druid", "ranger",
"monk", "available", "available2", "antipaladin", "paladin", "bard", "pc13",
"pc14", "pc15", "pc16", "pc17", "pc18", "pc19",
"baker", "butcher", "blacksmith", "mayor", "king", "queen"
};

Add what you want to this.

Then as you noticed, add the class files to your list. Everything should work at this point. It sounds like you missed the const.c portion since the error is generated when asking get_npc_class to lookup the name you entered.
