It seems that when the AREA_VERSION is modified above 2 and you fold all the areas, limbo.are seems to get corrupted. It seems to only affect a few areas though, like ones with spell items. I have tested this is in an unmodified version of SmaugFUSS 1.6.

This is the output:
gods.are : Rooms: 1200 - 1201 Objs: 1200 - 1200 Mobs: 1200 - 1200
Sun Oct 9 12:10:11 2005 :: [*****] FILE: limbo.are LINE: 772
Sun Oct 9 12:10:11 2005 :: [*****] BUG: Load_objects: # not found.

What I did was change:
		if ( area_version == 1 )

To:
		if ( area_version >= 1 )

In db.c, function load_objects.

It seems to have fix the problem with loading areas with a version of 2 or higher, but I'm not
sure if this would be a proper fix though. :P

Good catch on that. I doubt too many people would have even noticed since it doesn't appear they modify the version numbers that often :)
