Hello everyone. I've taken a rather long(over 3 years) vacation from muds and have decided to get back into them. I'm a very very addicted area builder but have never really coded before and have downloaded SWR1.1Fuss from the website here.

My question is, all I want to do is change the room name color, the room text color, and the room exit colors.

I want to make the room name white unless I manually use the color strings with redit. I also want to change the default room text color to the dark cyan. And the exit colors to white. And I want to change the combat messages to bright red, and the "You have gained a level in" messages to white. Any suggestions?

Also, can anyone tell me how to make it so that when you advance in combat and bounty hunting levels you gain a little bit of hpdepending on str/dex/con and movement based on dexterity? And if you gain in smuggling you'll gain a little extra movement based on dexterity.

I haven't tested it yet, but do you gain more forcepoints as you level in up in the force? If not, can anyone tell me how to adjust it so that you do based on int/wis?

I have one final thing I want to change.

The Wizlist/who, I'd like to change the description of their position above their names based on level. A level 105 top immortal will be "The Producer", a 104 will be "Admin", 103 would be something like "Junior Admin", 102 would be like "Trainee" and that's all I really want to adjust.

I guess it's kind of alot but I'm told by some who wont sit down with me, that it's really minor stuff.

Can anyone please give me a hand?

Jayar.

To change the colors for whats in do_look, look at, well, do_look in act_info.c. You will see where the individual info is printed, and you can manually append the color variable if you want, or uset set_char_color to what color you want(what I would recommend).

To change it so people gain stats on level gain, look in update.c, I can't remember the function off hand(at work), but search for the string printed out when you level up.

I beleive that you do not gain more FP, but you would change it in the same place as bounty, etc.

The wizlist titles are actually hard coded into do_who I beleive, you should be able to change them in there.

Hope that helps.
