Alright, first off a disclaimer to my stupidity... I have read pretty much all of the docs that come with AFKMUD, and I have ran several smaug muds most of which were fairly successfull (20 or so players at peak times), I am looking into using AFKMUD for my newest mud idea because alot of the featuers I want or like are already coded into it, which saves me work and sence I tend to be a one man team, anything that saves me work rules.

With that out of the way, a question...
Are there anymore documentation stuff that I could read that outline things like, off the top of my head. SkyShips I have never used nor heard of them. They sound kewl, very kewl.

I have a copy of afkmud sitting on my desktop compiled under cygwin. I have logged in maybe 20 mins to play around iwth it but havent done anything special. I am at the more advanced stages of planning my mud (been planning for about a month or so, which is light compared to what I normaly do). Anyways to stay on subject I am looking for some more reading regaurding afkmud, both on the OLC stuff, features, as well as the innerworkings of the code. I dont mind reading docs, tutorials, or disccussions. It saves me time in studying and guess work. (And yes I have read the stuff on the website and did a search on the forums first)

Anyways thanks alot guys any help is much welcomed!

I have to admit that documentation hasn't been high on the list of things to do lately, but we still try to keep it in mind. Sadly, even with as little as we've documented, we still have alot more than 95% of other codebase out there :)

Anwyay. Skyships. They are indeed a very cool thing to have. Give me some time to come up with a proper document and I'll post it. I'd rather not half-ass one in a forum response while half asleep. :P

As a software developer I completely understand that.

I do hope my post was not taken as insult or anything, I was simply wondering if I was missing something..
