this is some stuff that doesn't appear to work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

command DMESG doesn't seem to work
command KHISTORY doesn't seem to work
command COINDUCT doesn't seem to work

what exactly is itemtype 11 _worn, do? Is it inactive? I made some objects with that type and when I load them I get this

Build: Snowleaf: load obj 1214
Log: [*****] BUG: Read_object: vnum 1214 bad type.
Log: [*****] BUG: ------------------------> 11

I used it for clothing type objects that didn't need to report a condition status. Did I misunderstand it's purpose?

Khistory isn't a command anymore. Samson removed that feature from AFKMud.

Not sure about the rest.

When in doubt, go into your source directory and type this:

grep 'do_' *.c

So if you were looking to see if we even HAVE the khistory command, you'd type:

grep 'do_khistory' *.c

Hope ithelps!

Dmesg command doesn't exist. I don't even recall how long ago we might have removed it, but we apparently did. Nor do I recall why at this stage.

Khistory is gone, as Xorith points out. Found it to be mostly useless and often had issues with vnums going missing and such. Rather than fix it, we decided to junk it and save some ram.

Coinduct may or may not work. I've not looked at the council code in eons, as indicated by the poll thread to decide its fate.

Any item type which is indicated by an underscore is generally one that's still hanging around from old Smaug code. They did that apparently to tell people which flags they made useless. I've not messed with any of those since it supposedly helped with area compatibility. Haven't come around to checking to see if they still mean anything. If they don't, they'll be yanked in the major code cleanup we're now preparing.

Oh, a note

I do believe that dmsg or whatever command really was useless. I know there was one command that showed parts of what you see in the log file, when the game starts up... and there was another that would constantly crash the game. I think this was one of those.

And I might be rewriting a khistory type thing. I haven't decided if it'd be worth it or not. If I do, I'll surely post it as a snippet.
