It seems to me that certain things arn't checking the overland properly. I noticed this in two cases - The track skill and object update messages. With track, it tells you the target is in the same room when you try to use it from the overland... which is correct as far as code goes, but not as far as functionality goes.
With object update messages, I've been seeing stuff like 'Something decays into dust and blows away...' - When I looked I found that because of the way the code works, the object name is just being changed because I 'can't see it', but I'm 'in the same room' as it.
I didn't see any 'quick fixes' for either yet, and I'm currently occupied with a project involving Mud Progs... I'm going to be adding some new fangled support for a few things if I ever get the string manipulation down right *g*
I'm just posting it here so people know... because knowing is half the battle! The other half is winning! ... err.. Forget it.
