Announcing the launch of SmaugMuds.org - The Smaug MUDs Community Center.

The new SmaugMuds.org site is officially open. The intention of the expanded site is to become a more generalized Smaug resource site for Smaug MUD admins, developers, builders, and players. With this effort we hope that more interest will be generated for Smaug and that the combine membership of the former AFKMud and SmaugFUSS sites will be able to interact more productively instead of splitting their time across two sites.

Some things to take note of. This site will continue to operate as the public release portal for AFKMud, SmaugFUSS, SWR FUSS, and SWFOTE FUSS. The existing administration teams have been combined, so don't be too surprised to see Dwip and Whir listed as admins along with myself. There will also be a small section left over in the forums for the Alsherok MUD, which really had no place else to go.

The domain names afkmud.com and fussproject.org will become redirects to the new domain: www.smaugmuds.org. You will need to update your bookmarks and any external links as soon as possible. As time permits, links within the existing forum topics will be found and updated as well.

All member accounts from both the AFKMud and SmaugFUSS sites have been preserved, but you will need to update your cookie preferences to allow the smaugmuds.org domain instead. There may be other adjustments needed as well.
